Cool red color with beige head that vanishes quickly. The faint aroma is a bit weird with caramel on top. Taste is also somewhat surprising. Much stronger than aroma it has banana and caramel. Palate could be fuller. This beer is carbonated just right. Overall a nice blind date with this one. larsga (7690) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 10, 2014
Small beige head. Hazy deep brown body. Earthy caramelly spicy aroma with perfumy oily notes. Dry fruity intense tropical wood taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Intense tropical wood flavour just carries on, lasts for several minutes. That’s the aftertaste, and I don’t like it. Drainpour. Wife tasted same beer from same bottle, but did not have the flavour problem. Must be something I’m sensitive to. (0.33l bottle, from Bambalyne, Vilnius.) It’s quite a stogy beer. And I miss some original bits, it has nothing too distinctive to remember.
But it’s quite a good beer, though.
