Bottle. Pours a clear dark brown body with a small fizzy off-white head that faded to a thin ring. The nose is heavily malty and sweet with some dark fruitiness and just a touch of alcohol. There may be a touch of oak in here, but it’s fairly light. The flavor is a little less smooth and well rounded than I was expecting from the pretty solid aroma. The malt is on the thinner side, and the dark fruit notes that I look for in a Dubbel just aren’t there. The finish is rather short and flat with a slight tannic note and comes across as a bit watery. Light minimal fizzy carbonation. This one falls a bit short for me.

Bottle. Dark brown in colour, no head. Malty sweet, toasted, caramel and sugary notes, some dried fruits too. Medium body, dry with high carbonation and sweetish finish. Maybe not a proper dubbel but quite nice beer anyway. Vells (2003) - Rīga, LATVIA - AUG 28, 2016
Not standard Belgian Dubbel, but quite standard Lithuanian Dubbel. Malty cocktail, bit toasted, with some caramel, bready, light licorice, sadly some plastic. Light floral hops. Moderate to light sweetness, light bitterness, bit sticky Smithld1 (379) - Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2016
Bottle from my mate with a Lithuanian missus. Not bad. A lot of caramel. Sticky. Like a toffee apple. I like it. sharkydodson (1988) - St. Petersburg, RUSSIA - JUL 29, 2016
