COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pendulum Pilsner is a rich velvet smooth, yet clean, dry and crisp pilsner of a pale gold color. The complex mix of hops and malt creates an elegant floral nose and delightful taste that is very drinkable without overwhelming even the most tepid beer drinker. Not overly bitter but just enough of the hop to enjoy their subtle complexities while still enjoying the smooth, and almost sweet taste of the malt. Serve Pendulum in a tall glass to enjoy the carbonated bead and the steady white head that laces the glass and taste why Pendulum Pilsner is a cut above the rest.

12oz bottle, thanks to Pat H. for this one. Clear orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves decent lace, a few dots. Good head retention. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lightly soft, light to moderate strength carbonation. Lightly slick finish. Kind of a bready malt, light caramel. Lightly peppery. Some hints of citrus rind. Moderate bitter taste. Light to moderate sweet. Light tanginess. OK pils.

Bottle. Poured a pretty clear golden yellow color with a large white head. Aroma was toasted malts, some light grain. Plenty of crystal. Flavor was crisp and clean malts, some earthy and floral hop notes. Pretty clean, easy to drink - a pretty good Pilsner.

Bottle. Golden and still, little to no head whatsoever. Drinks smooth and clean, but is uber-malty, or at best virtually flavorless. Perhaps made to compete with the macros, and does so admirably. But not much to this, beyond an everyday lager. (#5768, 10/2/2014)

kramer (5950) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 22, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear light gold body under a small fizzy white head that faded fairly quickly. The nose is a touch too sweet smelling with some bready and doughy pale maltiness. Not much in the way of hops to speak about. The flavor is a little too sweet as well, and tastes a bit like theres some corn in here. Very lightly hopped, with minimal to no bitterness. Finishes with some sweet bready maltiness. Light bodied and a bit clingy with soft minimal carbonation. Pretty lackluster Pilsner.

Bottle from Perfect Pour. Bold orange body with slight head. Nose is yeasty, floral, hoppy. Taste is malty up front, wheaty, then more fruity with oranges. Notes of bananas in there. Decent.
