12 oz bottle into a pint glass.
A: Pours a clear amber color - this is darker than I anticipated. The head is one fingers high, and barely off-white in shading. Not much in the way of either retention or lacing.
S: The primary notes are toasted malts and a hint of noble hops. Some fleeting caramel sweetness also invades the nose ever-so-slightly. Pretty basic, but not bad.
T: Plenty of caramel and toffee to start, which turns slightly nutty and toasty near the middle...and also slightly metallic on the finish. Faint hoppy hints also appear on the back end; I want more of this to appear. If nothing else, the flavors seem to improve slightly as the carbonation slows down.
M: This has too much of a rough, coarse feel for me going down. The high carbonation is welcoming, but the way it cuts through the otherwise sweet texture isn’t. Should be more drinkable, as well.
O: This should be reclassified as an amber, or perhaps even a Vienna lager. At the very least, it’s an acceptably mediocre amber/Vienna (hey! ratebeer got it right!) Not bad, but I don’t see much reason to pick this up over SA Boston Lager, which is cleaner, crisper, easier to drink, and available everywhere.
Meh. Decent mild lager but nothing special. Light amber, slight head. Bottle must be a bit old because there's a slight funk.

Beer is advertised as a Vienna but it is quite a bit crisper than a Vienna might be expected to be. Still very nice malt notes in the flavor but the yeast and hops balance the malt well. Curious as to the type of yeast. Tasty, easy drinking beer. bigben873 (249) - Virginia, USA - MAR 25, 2017
A solid summer beer, nice medium lager. Nothing special but not offensive either. March madness 2017. crossovert (12642) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 18, 2017
355ml bottle. Pours a lighter amber. Aroma is a bit rubbery and lagery. Falvor is rubbery and grainy, bad stuff. ilovedarkbeer (2737) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JAN 17, 2017
Terrible beer. Pours an amber color with a foamy white head. Thin mouthfeel. Tastes of almost nothing. Maybe some cardboard with a dash of sugar syrup. Poured it down the drain, not worth drinking. Its not so much that its offensive tasting but rather that it tastes of nothing, and "So, because you are lukewarm--neither hot nor cold--I am about to spit you out of my mouth."

Bottle from Total Wine, Gainesville. Pours golden with a tiny dusting of a white head. Smells slightly sweet, mostly grains. Flavor is also slightly sweet grains, but also metallic. There’s nothing special about this lager. Frank (4172) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 31, 2016
I think this stuff is pretty alright. It is a shade darker than a Pilsener, clear w/ a foamy head. It smells mildly of cereal grains and this is emphasized by a light sweetness. This is medium bodied w/ pretty vigorous carbonation and goes down about as easy as a Budweiser--which is a positive in my book. I think this stuff is sort of what Yuengling claims to be like but isn’t really. Erzengel (8619) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - AUG 14, 2016
*5.5% ABV, German version. Smooth grainy brew. Not very deep, moderate in bitterness. Fresh, grainy and slightly sweetish with not much bitterness. johnnnniee (4245) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 18, 2016
On tap at the BNA Party last week.Slightly hazy deep yellow color. bready biscuity aroma and flavor with a faint floral spicy hop to counter. Nice intermission beer. altonbrownd (5898) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - NOV 1, 2015
Bottle at Villain & Saint. Nice copper body with no head at all. Nose malty, grains, toasty notes. Taste more grainy with malts and more subdued hop notes. Okay, not too distinctive.
