In the old brewery we had a problem with slugs getting into the brewery. As the beer leaves a trail down the glass as you drink it like a slug, that's how the beer was named. A delicious traditional porter with a full bodied taste of chocolate, coffee, blackcurrant and black cherry with a good aroma. A near black colour with a good white head when served through a tight sparkler.
Pale malt, crystal malt, black malt; Fuggles and Goldings hops.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2007, London. Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, chocolate, coffe, berry (vanila / licorice). Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat.

Århus2008 50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to black and with a lacing tan head. Light bitterhops and roasted malt aroma. Flavour is almost tarish roasted malt with a dry hoppy note and a light liqourice note too. Ends dry and with a mild roasted acidic flavour.

Ungstrup (38140) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 23, 2003
A dark ruby red beer with a small brown head. The aroma is very light of chocolate. The flavor is of roasted malts and chocolate which in the middle is taken over by notes of coffee combined with some sourness. It ends on a rather dry note both from hops and malts.

Botttled. Clear brown coloured with a huge beige head. Roasted aroma of coffee and dish washer. Roasted flavour with notes of fruits, coffee and hops.

Cask @ Bishop’s Arms Malmö. Black/ dark brown colour. Small tan head. Roasted malt and chocolate in the aroma. Taste is roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. It has more stout taste to me than porter taste. But i like it.

Casked. Dark amber colour, creamy small beige head. Weak roasted malt in flavour along with some malty hints. Dry (weak) roasted malt and some fruits in flavour. Dry finish and a bit sticky palate.

Draft at Churchkey, courtesy of staff, thanks! Light maroon color, large bubble head. Aroma of medicinal chocolate and burnt rubber. Taste is boozy coffee. Weird.
