Cask ale. Mild malty nose. Pale creamy head. Pale golden color. Roasty slightly bitter taste with lemon hints. Fruity too. Good for thurst.

imdownthepub (14223) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 25, 2013
Cask conditioned at The White Horse, Banbury. Gold with white head. This was quite light and sweetish on the malts with a fruity hop flavour, tangerine came to mind, just a hint of tanginess and a late bitterness. Pretty decent.

Cask conditioned handpump Brunswick Derby. A gold/ornage coloured beer with an off-white pool of head. Orangey fruits in both the aroma and taste. Good fruity hops and a good lengthy body. Pretty nice.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Copper with a small white head. Pleasant malt aroma of the dusty old sacks in barn variety. Distinctively fruity, near vinous taste. Some sourness and background malt. Sharp bitter finish. I enjoyed this. ABV is definitely 4.6% nowadays.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 8 April 2011. 4.6% abv) Golden amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with peaches, flowers and ripe pears. Fruity taste with notes of citrus, peaches, pears and a floral bitterness in the finish. Rather light body, quite sweet. Enjoyable and refreshing.

Cask (HBF2008)
Fruity - peach and banana - esters. Creamy in the mouth, pale malts, some grain and a little lactic. Low on hops, and fruity esters poke out instead. Doesnt seem to know what it is.

Doppelganger (1388) - Dry County, Arkansas, USA - MAR 12, 2008
Cask, Far From The Madding Crowd, Oxford. Copper, a bit of white head. Vague caramel aroma, a little flower pollen, blackberry. Soft wandering malt sweetness with a little toast. A touch of bitterness. Nothing offensive, but not much to praise.

chriso (7533) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 16, 2006
Cask (gravity dispense) at London Drinker Beer Festival, March 2006. Very bright golden yellow colour. Generous amount of aromatic hop in the aroma, with citric and resinous notes. Less on the palate. Fairly restrained bitterness. Light, easy-drinking mouthfeel. Decent but not spectacular.
