Bottle. Light golden, clear. Very little aroma. Not bad. More flavor than mass market beers but not like a microbrew. I personally think they should have used the original recipe. This beer isn’t going to reach the masses and only locals who are interested or old timers who remember the original would be likely to even try it. Doesn’t have the flavor to appeal to craft brew lovers.

From old tasting notes. Pale yellow gold color. Smooth, creamy white head. Light, tart, Apple peel malt aroma. Light, zesty malt flavor with lots of carbonation. Brie, tart finish. Very little aftertaste.

120z brown bottle. Golden colour, a bit unclear and some unexpected floaties. Small white cap on top with very little lacing. Old school pale lager aroma with bread/cereal, lemon and some late sweetness. Taste has sweet grains and white bread with faint hops. A bit of a sweet finish. Regular carbonation, medium bodied. Enjoyed this way more than expected.

Golden in color. Thin head. Some maltiness in aroma. Hint of caramel in flavor.

northropfrye (3743) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - DEC 15, 2013
A hint of citrus and sweet grainy malts. Not a bad lager but not too interesting.

One of the better pale lagers I’ve had considering it’s competition. Aromas of grass and lemon juice. Nice crisp and clean lager with notes of lemon.

Nothing special but a nice crisp brew with a mild grassy hop and bready sweet malts. Well balanced and crisp finish but nothing special here. Golden glowing body with a soapy head and carbonation throughout. Light grainy and grassy aroma.

Bottle sampled @ Edmonton Craft Beerfest. Medium golden, sweet cereal aria and flavour, maybe a lemony note. But too sweet! Bleh.

Golden color, light frothy head. Completely non-descript from start to finish. Beyond boring. Dry.

reebtogi (6488) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 31, 2012
355ml bottle pours a pale golden orange color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some sporadic lacing. Aroma is cereal grains and grass. Taste is malty sweetness with a bold grassy hop bitterness that lingers a little. Light bodied with average carbonation for the style. A slight step up from a typical macro lager, not bad.

Scrapersnbeer (1532) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - JUL 31, 2012
Grass and corn aroma over a hint of caramel. Light orange color. Sweet corn flavor, almost candied malt. Light body that’s about twenty percent heavier than the average macro. Another higher scoring regional revival swill.
