Big thanks to cfh64 (Brad) for the extra.
A: Pours a dark brown color with a light tan head forming on the pour. It recedes to a thin ring.
S: There’s a ton going on. Fruity yeast, dark fruit, caramelized sugar, and some slight coffee bean.
T: Dark fruits, dark malts, some slight bitterness with a touch of paper. Sweet malts and light caramel.
M: Medium to thin bodied. Was expecting a little more body to this beer. Full flavor, but some prickly carbonation whisks it away pretty quickly.
O: I enjoyed the nose on this immensely, but the mouth feel was lacking. A little too thin and the carb was a little high. Overall it was nicely done though.

Bottle - thanks Sean! Pours clear deep ruby-black with a small light brown head that dissipates with good lacing. Aroma is yeas, spices, dried fruit, molasses. Flavor is the same, medium sweet, ABV well masked throughout. Very tasty beer. travita (5008) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 12, 2012

Black in color with a small beige head. Aroma is of chocolate, heavy prune and raisin, light cherry, blackberry, toffee. Taste is of blackberry, prune currants, roasted malt and dark chocolate. Pershing (577) - Garland, Texas, USA - NOV 9, 2012
This beer poured jet black with decent tan head. The alcohol is not hidden very well in this beer but once you swollow the first sip it gets much better with a smooth velvety mouthfeel. I could not detect much aroma at all and was sort of confused with the style name. Essentially a Quad with black patent or chocolate malt. Finishes with an urge for more. Deep black pour, slight head. Nose is slightly metallic with roasted malt, toffee, and dark fruit. Lots more dark fruit in the flavor, toffee, and some alcohol burn.
Central market bottle. Wow, pours like a porter but a small head. Aroma is nice: fairly sweet, both malt and sugar. Big malt flavor and sweetness in the flavor but not really well strung together. The booze is a little noticeable too. Fine though. rougeau13 (3228) - Richmond, Texas, USA - NOV 5, 2012
Deep-almost opaque-, clear, brown-red with a tan head. Lacing is very light. Aroma of dark fruit, caramel, banana, and alcohol. Tastes sweet and fruity, and yeasty with light alcohol. Medium bodied, smooth, and a touch oily. Decent quad, and unusually easy drinking for the style and abv.
