UPDATED: NOV 5, 2012 This is my new go to beer... Thank you Sjohnny! Strong, dark, sweet flavor. It reminds me of learning to drink sweet coffee without cream. Great dark color, no head, sweet aroma. Judes (29) - Houston, Texas, USA - DEC 7, 2012
Wow- amazing smell, like pancake syrup and toast jelly and molasses. Has a bite but so smooth. Shared a couple of bottles and felt good afterwards. SPDickerman (1315) - Texas, USA - JAN 25, 2013
Pours dark mahogany with a tiny light tan head. Smells of dark fruits and hints of dark roast. Taste is dark fruits with hints of roast and bread and a tiny hint of booze. Full-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Real Ale Brewer’s Cut Black Quad finishes with a vinous tingle. sjohnny (705) - - OCT 20, 2012
UPDATED: NOV 18, 2012 Yeast and caramel aroma. Pours a glistening dark brown like polished tourmaline. When it first hit my tongue I said "Oh Wow". It’s like a good stout and a good quad fell in love, got married and had a baby. They gave birth at the Real Ale Brewery and named their baby Brewer’s Cut Black Quad. Root beer, toffee, fruit, caramel. Ever so slight coffee bitterness on the finish. leo2x4us (66) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - JAN 12, 2013
Appearance is black with thin head. Taste is malty with carmel maple sweetness. Not to bitter and has a hint of coffee.
