(12oz bottle thanks to bu11zeye) clear rich copper, soapy tan bubbles. Nose of honey, chlorine, pine, cream, herbal. Taste is light alcohol, bit astringent, grapefruit, citrus zest oil, interesting beer but not the easiest drinker. SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - JAN 27, 2013
Pours dark amber with a large khaki head. Smells of hints of caramel and citrus. Taste is bitter with some malt sweetness. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Real Ale Brewers’ Cut Imperial Red Ale finishes with a sweet twinge. Great, but BIG beer with a crisp, dry finish. Complex, caramel malt. Not cloying or sugary. Intense yet smooth hop flavor puts it right up my alley. Extremely drinkable. Super easy on the palate with just enough mouthfeel to leave you sated but not overburdened. mar (5423) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JAN 26, 2013
hazy amber with a cream head. nose is sweet, sticky, caramel, light hops, very malty. nice on the palate, dough, caramel, bitter, sticky, light chewiness. bleeng (1682) - Seattle still not near Beersel., Washington, USA - JAN 25, 2013
Draft at the Dig Pub Cedar Park TX. Dark copper/brown. Sweetish (not Swedish) nose. Taste is full on traditional red ale, with a thick malt body, nicely incorporated hop profile, with a kick of an alcohol bite at the end. Dangerously drinkable.

Deep red-brown with a small beige head. Aroma is of musk, caramel, pine, citrus. Taste is of pine, light resin, caramel. llcooldave (1218) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - JAN 19, 2013
Pours a dark amber with a touch of red in glass. Strong citrus and ganja aroma followed by a funky cheese note. Flavors of sweet citrus and spice
Overall, tasty and complex... Thanks to BarZigKin for sharing! ansermadide (1526) - Kyle, Texas, USA - JAN 19, 2013
This is definitely a red ale, boasting a bright, deep, dark red color that’s really sexy. It has an off-white head and really nice lacing that actually resembles lace. The nose is also great, and smells just like a microbrewery, with fresh grain dominating and a slight, highly caramelized malt dominating. Hops aren’t immediately noticeable in the aroma, but some alcohol is. The flavor is a nice balance of thick, but thinly syrupped thanks to the alcohol - and residual sugars are low, but dark. This all ends in a softly bitter finish that still echoes a fresh grain flavor. This is so much better in a glass it’s not even funny. travita (5006) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JAN 18, 2013
Bottle. The look is red, hanging sediment, somewhat clear, and a well carbed beige head. The smell wafted from the bottle while pouring, pine, hops, grassy, caramel, fruits, mostly grapefruits, just slightly muddled. The taste is caramel, hops, pine, grapefruits, some bitterness but not too much, grass, and alcohol. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - JAN 17, 2013
Hazy red color with a white head. The aroma is full of resinous pine with some grass mixed in. The flavor has some nice bitter pine and resin notes, as well as some citrus. There is a hint of malt, but the bitterness is fairly high for the style. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
