Golden orange with a decent off-white head. Aroma is of wet grass, light herbal notes and lots of orange peel. Taste is of caramel, orange zest, and floral. BelgianBeerGal (4039) - Panama City, Florida, USA - NOV 8, 2012
Central Market bottle marked best before 01.01.13. Nice golden bronze color with a medium, foamy white head. Odd aroma that has some metallic bitterness and caramel malt dominating. Nice flavor though. I’m not familiar with Herkules hops but there is a distinct bitterness here. horto008 (186) - Alabama, USA - NOV 7, 2012
Excellent. Had a spiciness that really stuck with it. Complex with some cinnamon and clove overtone that is missing from many pale ales. Bitter enough that one could think it an IPA, but really just an excellent pale. On draft at the Hoppy Monk in El Paso. jimmie65 (330) - Texas, USA - NOV 4, 2012
Brewer’s Cut bottle.
Cloudy light yellow. Aroma is hoppy, light citrus, malt. Flavors follow through. Taste is bitter, w/ a touch of sweet. Hop Pale Ale is a good description, as it’s not quite an IPA but far more flavorful than a pale ale. dlihcsnatas (740) - Temple, Texas, USA - NOV 4, 2012
Bottle conditioned just like a brew should be. Poured up a deep gold, but need to pour slow to avoid sediment. Yep I poured one of them in my glass a bit too quick and the sediment was swimming in it. Really nice white head that holds. Aroma of strong hops, almost like an IPA. Flavor is loaded with a somewhat spicy very citris hops. The Herkules hops are good and with the amount of hop flavor and aroma I was a bit suprised to find it only had an ABV of 5.1%. Was expecting it to be more since the hops are so strong figured more malt would have been needed to keep the bitterness in check. Guess that goes to show the strength of the Herkules hop.

Cloudy rich yellow color. Dense white head lasts a long time. Heavy white lace. Musty dank aroma, thick and savory. Flavor has a lot of funk and is a bit foody, bland, fishy, and oily. Cardboard comes to mind. Signature... avoid this (Hercules?) hop.. points are for being different.
