Typical brown ale pour, deep brown that you cant see through. Roasted malty aroma. Good balance between the maltiness and the bitterness in the finish. maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - APR 15, 2013
Draught. Pours a very dark brown with a small tan head. Nose is slightly sweet with some nice toastiness to it. Taste is quite light and toasty. Interesting beer... HighWine (991) - Whalezbro, Illinois, USA - APR 8, 2013
Tap flight at Flying Saucer San Antonio. Medium brown color with a well laced khaki head. Light roast aroma. Taste is subtly sweet, aromatic, and roasty. Flavors and body too light to be really great. fmrusmcrntx (5) - Llano, Texas, USA - FEB 10, 2013 does not count
Excellent Brown Ale, very much like some of the fine "Scottish Brown Ale" that I’ve drank. RABC does this one right as well! :) JakeSparks (125) - Alvin, Texas, USA - JAN 21, 2013

Bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a large tan head. Aroma is lightly roasted malt with some caramel and brown sugar. Flavor is moderately sweet caramel malt, with some roasted note, bit of fruitiness, and mild hopping. Pretty decent brown. hopheadsbrew (143) - Illinois, USA - JAN 4, 2013
Brown and opaque. Fast disappearing head. Chocolate aroma with dark fruit. Medium carbonation and body. Light dry finish with chocolat aftertaste. alcaponejunior (445) - Texas, USA - DEC 17, 2012
Pretty auburn brown color and clear, one finger head was ok and left some lacing.
Smell is brown sugar, molasses, nuts, chocolate, caramel.
Flavor is sweet but not overpoweringly so, with a nutty component, some chocolate, toffee, molasses, brown sugar, and a well balancing bitterness from the hops.
Medium body with smooth, medium levels of carbonation. Sweet, nutty aftertaste.
Overall it’s quite enjoyable. I have enjoyed beers from this company so far, and plan to try more of them when I can. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - DEC 3, 2012
Bottle. Roasty malt, chocolate, and some very light coffee aroma. Dark brown with a moderate tan head. Roasty earthy malt flavor with some light chocolate sweetness and a bit of lactic sourness. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation.
