Rated based on notes taken 14 July 2012 -- Probably my favorite of the Real Ale brews that I drank on this expedition. Well crafted Belgian. DrunkSanta410 (957) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - JUN 14, 2015

Tap at craft pride in Austin with commonmac. Snifter. Dark gold with small white head. Smells of Belgian yeast and citrus. Crisp citrus, with yeast to give a nice medium body. Some peach elements. Well balanced. Very nice to drink. Great beer. commonmac (1263) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 16, 2015
On tap at Bangers in Austin. Odd 14 oz pour. Cloudy orange with golden qualities. Minimal head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is strong leaning on spices and Belgian yeast. This one owns its Belgian-ness very well. Taste feels very much in the wheelhouse of the tripel style. Initial spiciness carries throughout with a bite towards the end letting you know alcohol is present. Sugary sweetness at the end and through the aftertaste. It’s welcomed and appreciated. This is a very well done tripel. Actually could hold its own against the gold standard Tripel Karmaliet. The Devil went down to TX and showed some serious backbone. See ya Johnny. darb85 (287) - Canton, Michigan, USA - APR 15, 2015

Tasted from bottle. Pours a hazy gold with white head. Aroma is Belgian yeast and spices with clove, banana and fruity notes. Taste is very well balanced with moderate sweetness and mild to moderate bitterness. Flavors of clove, banana, tropical fruits, spices. Overall a very good tripel.
