Pours a slightly tinted copper, thin ivory head. Aroma is nice, somewhat subdued, earth, sweet tea. Medium bodied... Caramel, toasted malt, earth, wood, traces of mint.... Good take on the style. UncleKorm (1319) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - MAR 27, 2014

2/24/12. On tap at the brewery during RBWG 2012. Clear copper pour with a small khaki head that sticks. Nice malty aroma that reminds me of a fresh mash going. Bready, malty flavor with some cracker, sweet caramel, chocolate, graininess, and more. Nice!

On tap at Alamo Drafthouse. Copper-amber with a fluffy off-white head. Aroma is typical English bitter, but with some extra hops and spice. Taste is pretty much the same. Medium bodied. Pretty good modification of a traditional bitter. KAggie97 (3529) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - APR 18, 2011

Pours a crystal amber with a nice white head. Nose is classic bitter leafy malt and baked hops. Flavor is freshly dead autumn leaves, old bread, and bitter malt. Average mouthfeel. Great effort. Captures the essence of a British ESB.
Tap at Gman FW. Courtesy cwsamples brother in law. Pours a clear copper orange color with a frothy white head. Aroma is orange peel and pepper with sweet malts and grains. Sweet smell. Flavor is fairly grainy with some slightly sweet notes but finishes super dry. Not bad but a rough finish. Braudog (6716) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - DEC 27, 2010
Draft at Dallas Flying Saucer. Dark amber with a nice substantial head. The slightly watery mouthfeel is therefore a surprise. Decent enough woodsy edge and British character, but the lack of body detracts. (#4037, 12/14/2010) blutt59 (6564) - Dallas, Texas, USA - SEP 28, 2010
on tap, copper colored with no foam, aroma of malty, grain and tannic , flavor is malty metallic caramel, finish is a little light
