COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This light bodied blonde ale is perfectly balanced with a touch of Crystal hops for bittering and aromatics. Fireman’s #4 is a great choice on any hot Texas summer day or pair it with spicy foods to help you put out the fire.

Reasonably good beer. Clean and crisp. Sweet smell. Quick finish with little in the way of lingering flavors or hops.

Cimbasso (930) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 15, 2015
Sampled on draught at the Lone Star on Riverwalk, San Antonio as Alamo Golden Ale. Golden colour with a white head. Light and refreshing with a mildly bready aroma and taste. Not much hop flavour, but some lemon citrus notes. Pleasant, but not memorable. A beer suitable for hot summer weather.

Gold pour, small white head. Light aroma, not much there. Flavor is light, floral, and wheaty. Exceedingly boring.

Voodoo (689) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 7, 2014
Pours a straw yellow color with a thin white head which disappears quickly.....aroma of sweetness, a bit of yeastiness......taste is a touch spicy fading away to a clean bit of sweet breadiness with barely noticeable bittering on the back end. A nice summer brew.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2014 Appearance: very clear average gold color, pours with a medium white head that has below average staying power Aroma: wheat, possibly corn, very lightly toasted grain Taste: hints of sweetness, very lightly toasted malt, slight bitter finish Palate: lively carbonation, light mouthfeel, no real aftertaste Overall: an average blonde ale, very bland and easy drinking, I’d normally prefer something else ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
