Bottle. Standard looking amber brew. Foamy head. Frothy and full bodied. Sweet overall with a big malt backdrop. Did I mention sweet? (#5236, 8/30/2013) Foxbush (2086) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - AUG 22, 2013
Draft at the Whiskey and Rye in the Omni hotel in Ft Worth The ale had poured with a white frothy head and a clear amber. There was some lacing. The aroma was of mild citrus. This is goof APA with some bitter citrus on the tongue. The medium body ale had average carbonation. The finish was smooth with the normal bitterness of a good pale ale. Tthe bitterness was felt on the top of your mouth.

April 2012. From bottle. Nice pale ale with fruity and malty aromas. Pine, citrus, hops, caramel. Not bad at all. ads135 (4923) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUL 25, 2013
Pours a hazy orange with a nice head. Spicy aroma of fruit and pepper. Rye is apparent in the flavor. CarloOG (57) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUL 19, 2013
Pours reddish brown with a medium white head. Slight caramel, bready aroma. Sweetness up front, with a good bitterness to the finish. Medium body. The hop finish lingers ever so slightly.

Comes out of the tap a hazy, barely translucent honey golden with an off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is malty, fruity ad slightly yeasty. Flavor has a malty core and notes of apple, banana, yeast and hops. Firm, lively, tingly mouthfeel rounds it out. Will get you a-howlin’!

bottle from my summer santa, pours brown with a cream colored head. wet cereal in the nose. taste is balanced and mostly bland with exception of some drying rye. Mlschuler (2) - - JUN 10, 2013 does not count
Head had fairly large bubbles. Nice amber color with a fruity aroma. Rich flavor with a nice balance of hops. OKplus (787) - Oklahoma, USA - MAY 9, 2013
A - Pours a semi-hazy copper amber with a 1/2 inch white head that clings to the sides of the glass.
S - Fruity esters, melon, citrus, some bready malt, rye grain comes out more as it warms.
T - Fruity cereal based malt, some soft orange citrus, rye comes through along with a good dose of biscuit, grain and hops. Turns spicy and almost herbal towards the end finishing quite dry.
M - Medium bodied, soft carbonation, creamy lush feel.
The malt and rye are showcased nicely, while the hops round of the flavors and help with the finish. This beer delivers what you’d expect from the label. Well done.

Not a bad ale. Would prefer to see a stronger showing in the rye malt used. Ok session beer. Hops are decent on the palate but lack the necessary aroma.
