COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pilsner is one of the world’s most popular beers and there are many interpretations of this style. The great pilsner beers of Germany, specifically Northern Germany, are the inspiration for our second lager - Hans’ Pils. These beers are known for being hoppier than the average pilsner and ours is no exception. In fact, at 52 IBU’s, it is hoppier than many pale ales. The featured hop in this beer is the spicy and herbal Tettnang Tettnanger hop. German pilsner malt yields a pale golden color and provides the perfect support for our blend of German hops. Our house German yeast strain ferments clean and dry which further adds to the authenticity of Hans’ Pils.

jbruner (5274) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - NOV 7, 2017
Pours a clear golden yellow from the can with bubbly white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of mild grassy hop notes with bready malt base and clean lager yeast. Taste follows, a solid pilsner, nothing super exciting, but solid for what it is.

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2017 Light yellow in color but foggy not clear. Hoppy but not bitter. A good beer, but not a great beer.

It's a decent pils, I got on fire sale at my local draught house for 3 bucks. That's about the most I would spend on it, I'm just not keen on pils myself. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at the Craft Pride, Austin, TX.
Clear golden color with a small white head. Mild citrus, mild sweet malt and some dryness in the aroma. Dry grassy hops, moderate bitterness and dry malt in the flavor. Hoppy and dry. Fresh.

On tap at Draught House Austin, TX, 27.4.16. Clear gold. Lots of malt and a little bit of grass and warm bread aroma, mildly bitter, grainy and malty taste. Medium-bodied, mild bitterness in the finish and very carbonated. Balanced and pleasing.

Light body. High carbonation pours with a thin white head. Clear yellow color. Bitter/astringent and long finish.

Clear golden in color... Biscuity bready aroma, pils malts... Flavor is light and crisp, lacks the harsh bite of some traditional pilsners... Pretty good for the style ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

6 pack 6 from local grocery store in Texas, poured into glass. Pale straw color with light head, a pretty beer, not crystal clear. Strong smell of hops and just the faintest hint of grain. Taste is bland on the front of the palate, taste little to no grains, no sweetness, none of that pilsner goodness that I’m used to in a pils, back of the tongue is all hops and nothing interesting, no pine or citrus, just a boring bitterness. Guess I lived in Germany too long, but I’m really disappointing!

Pretty solid beer. Straw yellow, decent bit of white head. Very crisp, definitely has a German feel, stays somewhat true to style which is nice. Definitely a little hoppier than tradition but still great.
