Clear deep golden, minimal head. Solid amount of funk, barnyard, some grassiness. A bit of charred oak. Quite a bit of piney, citrusy resinous bitterness. Lightly oily, medium body. Longer finish. Great. PartyFowle (954) - - APR 16, 2015
Draft. Apricot-colored and hazy. One finger of off-white froth hangs for a long while. Lemon, barnyard funk, green apple, pear and vinegar in the nose. A funky, citrusy aroma. The flavor is very oaky. Tons of vanilla and wood. Not much hop character left, but plenty of funky yeast phenols. Wet hay, pear, lemon peel, a little apple juice. Peppery and dry. Mild lingering bitterness. Medium-light body, soft and silky on the tongue -- a silk blanket. Lightly carbonated, tongue-numbing. Solid beer. kevinator (2176) - The Colony, Texas, USA - MAR 9, 2015
Leave it to American brewers to change the rules again. Strong funky aroma and flavor of spicy hops and funk. Good color and feel with lower carbonation than Lost Gold. Nice blend of two styles but still had to ponder on it a while. TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 8, 2014
Pours a cloudy yellow gold with white head. Citrus, oak, bread, funk, and barnyard on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a dry and tart citrus note.

Far from transparent orange-amber with a whitish head. Lots of filmy lacing. Strong aroma of flowers, citrus, and candy. Tastes moderately sour and pretty well balanced. Medium bodied; slightly dry. Very nice. The flavors aren’t as bold as some sour/wilds, but this one is quite refreshing and easy drinking. JakeSparks (125) - Alvin, Texas, USA - JAN 21, 2013
