12oz bottle from ericandersnavy - thanks, dude! Deep dark gold pour, fairly translucent, with a nice fluffy head. Looks light atop the glowing body, really inviting. Nose is very clean, fruity hops with just a bit of papery malts and the promise of a bitter heart. Mouthfeel is full but not too heavy, and the palate is clean, with a nice little bit of spice in the finish. Buoyant citrus and fruity flavors dominate, quite nice, and the malts are subtle, accentuating the clean hops. Good brew.

Pale golden with lots of bubbles, big loose head of white bubbles. Very grapefruit heavy nose, lots of citrus with sweet floral notes. Fairly light, sweet caramel malt body, more grapefruit and floral hops, resin on the finish but not terribly bitter by IPA standards. While not mind-blowing, this is a very nicely made IPA and I’m very happy to have access to it when in Texas. dnstone (3700) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - JUL 28, 2011
Golden-orange in color with white head. Moderate pine-hop aroma. Pine-citrus, medium bodied flavor. burg326 (5630) - Florida, USA - JUL 28, 2011
12 ounce bottle that poured a nice orange color with a huge hop aroma and citrus. Tasted like a light IPA with a nice hop flavor, grapefruit and citrus balance the hops well. Suttree (6541) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 9, 2011
Golden orange, with a thin ring of foam. Big floral hop aroma, with some honey-ish notes to go along with that. Tastes a little tart, then floral hop with some soodsy notes, then a big sweet caramel and honey finish. Very tasty stuff. BB 8/18/11. Thanks Secret Santa!

12 fl oz bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild toasted malty and citrusy/grapefruity. Sweet, fruity and mild hoppy. Bitter and slight citrusy into the finish. bjt512 (292) - Athens, Georgia, USA - JUL 3, 2011
I poured a 12 oz bottle into a wineglass. This was a shockingly pleasant surprise, with an intensely juicy hop aroma that tended toward citrus matched with a sweet but firm malt profile. The body proved a bit lighter for an ipa, but that’s a plus on 4th of July weekend in Texas. All in all, this is a welcome addition to the Austin-area beer roster, and a local alternative to Dale’s in a can for your Independent Day festivities. On tap at the Ginger Man in downtown Austin, TX. Hazy amber under a tall off-white head with a nice sheen of lacing. Citrusy aroma. Plenty of floral notes with toasted cereal, a touch of coffee, grapefruit and a hint of apple. Smooth satisfying texture and a dry finish with a nice citrusy, hoppy final kick. Well balanced and well worth a try if you’re in the Lone Star State. Ibrew2or3 (8913) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JUL 2, 2011
Courtesy of markwise. Pours deep near clear gold with thin off white head. The aroma has some sharp citrus notes, brown sugary sweetness, dustiness, lime and grapefruit pith. The taste has some bitter sharp citrus hops that move into some grapefruit and lime like flavors. Behind the hops are notes of sweet malts and a touch of grainy malts. Thanks to ericandersnavy for this bottle. Pours amber gold with a creamy/bubbly near-white head. Aroma is roast caramel and floral. Med body. Flavor is unusually fruity. Almost tropical in some ways, citrus in others. This is quite an original.
