Bottle at home ... golden amber ... thin white head ... soft sweet floral hop nose ... juicy fruits ... soft pine and orange ... nice soft and easy Oakes (17676) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 16, 2016
Cloudy and dull tan. Has a fairly big piney, grapefruit hop nose with lots a biscuity pale malts. Bitter front, grapefruit but the hops are also kind of cheesy. Has a lot of sweet malts. Fair bit of alcohol apparent in the finish. Doesn’t really hold up past the nose brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - MAY 11, 2011
A: The beer pours a nice golden orange/amber color with a white head.
S: Funky body odor/armpit aroma of old hops. Some earthy and floral hop notes with hints of citrus peel. Plenty of bread and pale malt aroma to it, but the funkiness is just very off-putting.
T: The flavor is decent enough. Some citrus fruit (oranges) and citrus peel. Lots of bready and cracker type malts with a slight sweetness to it. Only a mild bitterness on the back end.
M: Medium in body with a medium level of carbonation.
O: The flavor is pretty decent but the nose is just so off-putting that it’s hard to get past. Ferris (15273) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 9, 2014
