A pale, mild beer. The least impressive of the Real beers I’ve sampled. Golden, thick head, with a grassy aroma. CarloOG (57) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUL 19, 2013
Pours a hazy copper color with a minimal beige head. Smells bready and malty sweet. Med body, not much flavor up front but finishes slightly bitter. jaretburkett (2) - Midland, Texas, USA - JUN 28, 2013 does not count
Has a nice hoppy flavor. A little more subtle than an IPA. Not too bad. I prefer my beers to be a little less hoppy, but it is a good beer.

Light golden-orange body, thin white head, spotty lacing. Grassy, grainy, a little floral and citrus. Simple. Medium to light bodied, gentle carbonation, soft finish, minimal bitterness. Ok, but not particularly interesting. pablo951 (691) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 14, 2013
Had it on tap at Hofbrau in San Antonio, poured a clear amber hue with a light head. Tasty caramel flavor with a hop finish.

Not a very good pale ale. Aroma is of light grassy saaz but no other notable scents. Taste is not balanced either with a bitterness and no flavors of note. ttoadee (1665) - Austin, Texas, USA - MAR 12, 2013
Pale gold, small white head. Lager hop nose. Semi sweet. Doughy and bready in the middle, somewhere between Pale Ale and Kolsch. Finish has a Pilsner hop tinge. Not sure how to look at this one, outside the box a little. A decent beer. chicowv (477) - Canaan Valley, West Virginia, USA - FEB 26, 2013
12 oz bottle: Aroma of sour leather. Pours light yellow, nice white head and a slow gradual CO2 release. Taste is bland, salty and slightly sour. Kind of smooth but a sour aftertaste leaves it flat on its face. Not that great. JakeSparks (125) - Alvin, Texas, USA - JAN 21, 2013
a really nice beer, would love to try this on tap because bottles seem so boring radagast83 (8624) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JAN 3, 2013
12oz bottle - poured a clear copper color with a small head. Not a fan of the hops in this one - a little too much like a skunky lager than a pale ale. So-so.
