Hand bottle:   Deep reddish caramel, thin sudsy off-white head little lacing.   Looks like an aged sour red brown.   Old and young cherries on the nose, sweet vinear, slight oak.   Similar tongue, slightly acidic.   As it warms a bit of raisin and dark pitted fruit come out.   Liking this more than I thought I would.   Dry, leaves my mouth watering.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Finishes like a young Goudenbond, slightly less eccentric.   Lingering sweet and dark pitted fruit like vinegar sourness.   Unexpectedly good.   Thanks for sharing Tex! Tap at Zio Carlos. Pours a very murky reddish maroon color with very little carbonation. Aroma is wood, sour cherries, grapes and sweet candy. Flavor is dry, tart, sour berries and a light bitterness. Finishes sour.

On tap @ GABF. Dark amber pour with an off-white head. Aromas of raisin, grape, and caramel. Hints of vanilla, oak, and red wine vinegar. Not bad. Flavor has a nice sweetness to it. Vanilla, caramel, and plenty of dark fruits. Solid red wine vinegar sourness, cherry, raisin, and grape.

Dark red brown colour with a tiny light pink head.
Sourness, mild tartness, some sweet maltiness and red berries in the aroma. Promising. The flavour is sour. It's also full of red berries, sweetness and mild tartness. Alcohol well hidden.

On tap at Strangeways in Dallas. Pours a brownish-amber color with a medium off-white head and minimum lacing. Aroma of malt and dark fruit. Full-bodied. Taste of earthy malt, tart black cherries and salty yeast. The finish is peat malt up front with a tart cherry aftertaste. Weird vinegary sour holds on the palate. Strange, interesting, tasty and good. Good alternative to a Flanders red ale.
