Bottle courtesy Fratto. Aroma is sweet and piney hops. Very good hoppy flavor and finish. Nicely done. SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - JAN 26, 2013
Pours clear golden orange with a medium white head. Smells of subtle citrus and pine. Taste decently bitter with a subtle citrus kick. Medium-bodied with a slick texture and average mouth-carbonation, Real Ale Brewer’s Cut Signature Hop Pale Ale finishes with a tingly bitterness. djd07 (14469) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 22, 2013
On tap at Flying Saucer. Pours a cloudy yellow with medium frothy white head leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is floral pine and grapefruit. Medium mouthfeel with nice hop bite and citrus with lingering bitter finish. A very good APA from Real Ale. JakeSparks (125) - Alvin, Texas, USA - JAN 21, 2013

Draft in pint glass. Hazy wheat-gold color; hoppy citrus aroma. Pine, hops, and grass with a mild grapefruity finish. raradel (343) - Atlanti Beach, Florida, USA - JAN 11, 2013
Bright and fresh flavor but weak overall body and palate. Nothing exciting to me... bleeng (1682) - Seattle still not near Beersel., Washington, USA - JAN 10, 2013
Draft. Bright gold with a small white head. Virtually no nose. Taste is mild hops and some yeasty bready notes. Not much alcohol presence. Similar to a hopped up firemans 4. Decent and drinkable but not one to really search out. stephenj007 (123) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 4, 2013
Unassuming looking bottle pour. Virtually no head, small glass ring.
Hazy, apple juice yellow, a bit bubbly.
Definitely a different hop aroma present....corn, a bit of lemon peel, mild skunk bud, saltgrass....can’t quite put my finger on some of the aromas.
They are very pleasing and not overly obtrusive.
NIce flavors, good taste. Well balanced hops bite, no malt tastes present hardly. A nice mouthfeel and slow pleasant, but mildly sour aftertaste.
Really enjoyed this brew. Very drinkable and enjoyable. Not too filling.
The Herkules hops really sets it apart in the pale ale flavor profiles.
Will need to pick up another 6pk. ansermadide (1526) - Kyle, Texas, USA - JAN 1, 2013
Wow, impressive. It pours a light golden color, very clear and thin in appearance, with a somewhat airy, bright white head and patchy lacing. The aroma is fresh, wet, and strong of spicy, green citrus hops. The lightness of malts and low amount of residual sweetness allows for the hops to really come through. It’s like HD for beer: you taste every crevice of the hops that would have otherwise been clouded over by the malts. Very nice.
In the mouth it feels much like it looks. There’s a faint, low-lovibond caramel sweetness that manages to surface. Otherwise, the flavor is dominated by the great flavor of Herkules hops. Earthy, fresh, and slightly citrusy, the variety a great match for the light caramel malt body and makes for a really great flavor palate. An herbal, citrusy hop bitterness carries through to the finish, fresh and clean and leaving you jonesing for the next sip. Overall, this is a very classy beer that’s delicately hooped with a massively acidic hop variety, and done so spot on.
