500ml bottle from Asda. Gold very thin white head. Grassy hop aroma. Not too bad in mouth, bit thin on flavours bit of toffee syrup. Bit of hop on end. Not awful, but it does feel a bit like an ale. Not any noticeable vomit. Fine. leaparsons (10613) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 17, 2006
Bottle. Light gold with a small foam. Aromas are light malts with some fruity sourness. Flavours are sweet grain with light sweet malts. Not as good as the Bulldog Ale. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - AUG 30, 2006
Bottled. A light amber coloured lager which looks as flat as a pancake in the glass. The aroma is malty but a bit vomit like in the background. The taste is very malty but there are also some apple notes. Some cardboard and obvious pasteurization tastes. Not too good. Mungo (2470) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2006
Bottle from asda. Nice grassy/hay hop character. Sweet slightly toffeeish malts with a hint of diacetyl. Not very lagery. The sweet malt manages to stay just the right side of a train wreck. I marginally prefered this to the Bulldog Ale. SilkTork (5761) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - JUL 20, 2006
Bottle from Asda. Toffee edged beer. Diactyl. Corn starch sweetness. Minimal hops. Fatter than your average "lager", but not very nice tasting. Not sure what to make of this. But it doesn’’t taste very nice.
