Cafe Wallingatan, Stockholm (old backlog 2011). Deep amber colour with a huge fluffy off-white head. Aroma is caramel, sweet malts, mild grassyness with a nice mellow fruityness as well. Flavour is rather similar with mild herbal notes. Quite sweet aftertaste.
UPDATED: APR 5, 2006 Bottled. Clear amber, rich firm head. Powerful grapefruity hop aroma. Sweetish with firm, rounded malt character. There’s notes of honey behind the massive curtain of hops. Very bitter finish. bhensonb (15191) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 10, 2008
Aromas of malt and citrus/floral hop. Darkish golden color with a substantial white head. Mixed malts, primarily something roasted, along with citrus hop. Relatively soft in the mouth with mild carbonation. Rather clean and refreshing. Finishes more dry than sweet. Very smooth. Bitter persists and builds in the finish. A very nice APA. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 12, 2004

"a biscuity malty (while still being hoppy) pale ale, golden-orange in color with a very good aroma. the flavor doesn;t quite live up to the smell, but it’s pretty good." hopscotch (11093) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - NOV 19, 2005
Bottle... Murky, caramel-colored ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Tons of floaties. The aroma is breadsy with notes of dried, yellow/orange fruit, caramel and butter. Lightly bitter, lightly tangy and astringent. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Finishes a little bitter and bone dry. Thanks go out to growler for sharing the bottle with me!
