Café Wallingatan, Stockholm (backlog from 2011). Deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is mild floral notes along with some sweet and bready maltyness. Mild toffee as well. Flavour is toffee, sweet malts, mild bready notes along with some slight floral, grassy and a bit cardboardy notes.
Sampled at GTBF 2006: Amber, big stable golden head. Big piney and orangepeel hop nose. Light toast, oranges, herbs, gras. Sand endnote. Medium body. Fruity and nice. slowrunner77 (12804) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 17, 2014
"a little more punch than your average amber ale, that’s for sure. I’m not sure thats better, but it’s not worse. darker, hoppier, with a hint of spice. fairly aggressive. recommended." mar (5439) - Dallas, Texas, USA - DEC 22, 2011
Deep amber pour with a cream head. Nose is heavy caramel, light hops, sweet, sticky, and bread. Nice on the palate, very sweet, chewy malts, faint bitterness from the old hops. taphandle (1135) - Texas, USA - MAY 21, 2011
Leading up to beer 666 for me, I feel a need to tame it with Redemption Red. Clear and very dark amber with a tan head. Aroma of dark berries or cherries. Taste is very malty with chalky dirt flavors along with flavors of dark fruits. There’s a good bitterness in the finished mixed along with more cherry flavor.

Pours a dark brown color with a thick white head and lots of lacing. Aromas are sour jolly rancher and floral hops. The taste is lightly hopped water, some caramel malts, and a slight sour taste. It’s pretty thin and not all that enjoyable. thegreenrooster (4552) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 8, 2010
Pour is more of a dark red with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malt with a little chocolate in there. Flavor is more of a chocolate with a little caramel malt toward the end. Nothing over the top good but this is a fairly decent red ale llcooldave (1224) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - OCT 4, 2010
Nicely hopped clean pine/medicinal aroma. For a red ale it pours brown. Upfront toasty malt flavor with a dry bitter aftertaste. Overall, it’s decent. Not much that stood out but at least it’s drinkable. GKillian (525) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - SEP 13, 2010
Pours ruby brown with thick creamy tan head and foamy lacing. Notes of roasted malt and licorice. Taste is a bit harsh and bitter. degbert (1776) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUL 15, 2010
Poured from bottle. Slight floral nose. Pours a flat red-brown with very little head. Flavor is overwhelmingly burnt toast with very few other notes. Tastes like someone took a flamethrower to a bag of caramels.
