JBPortland (1564) - Hampton Roads, Virginia, USA - SEP 6, 2016
750ml bottle pours semi clear dark orange with a finger of head. Nose and taste have some nice balanced funkyness, tart farmy stonefruit and orange notes, lots of oaky wood which gives some nice tannic dryness, some vanilla and peach lingers on the finish with crisp acidity. Pleasantly surprising and a solid offering.

This one was a great surprise. Light and clean, tons of nuances and very well balanced. Soe light funk, some wine flavors (berry, leather, herbs etc) some citrus flavors. Great!
