Deep black body with a creamy brown head - brilliant looks. Aroma of strong malts with some smoke: interesting and well balanced. Flavour is excellently balanced as well with a good bitterness from malts - brilliant!

inbirraveritas (1526) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAY 28, 2011
Bottle from „Pivo Söröző”, Bp. Clear, reddish dark brown coloured brew with a frothy beige head on its top. The nose is sweet with caramel. Tasteing begins sweet with a slick mouthfeel followed in the middle by caramel, yeast and some light notes of hops, flavour’s of brown sugar and dried fruits. The sweet-sourish and medium dry finish is escorted by roasted malt, which leaves at last a sweet-roasty aftertaste behind. An adequately balanced and very good drinkable czeh dunkel.

TorbenJensen (1468) - Valby, DENMARK - SEP 13, 2015
Very beautiful light brown foam settles on top of this dark lager. The aroma is malty with a slight touch of hops. It tastes sweet and has little coffee as tang within an easy hop bitterness comes on the field. A good dark lager, but perhaps a little too conservative.

wunderbier (1434) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 14, 2008
Dark brown in hue with a huge, tan, whipped cream looking head. Fairly big aroma of cocoa nibs, coffee beans (light roast), grass and toffee primarily. Behind that is some hay, pepper and a slightly dusty/chalky element. The flavour is incredibly sweet with lots of sugar and caramel -- milk chocolate and over-sweetened coffee to a lesser degree. The finish is half dry...paper or leather, softly bitter...fades into wateriness and apple skins. Sticky texture, medium (or just over) bodied and the carbonation is completely lost in the stickiness. All of the dust, paper, leather is uncalled for and it can be near cloying at times, but decent outside of that. 50cl, draught at Gastropub Praha.
