dark colour with a large brown head. some sweetness and dryness in the taste. doesnt leave a lasting impression but enjoyable if it walks in front of u. MoritzF (10199) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - SEP 21, 2012
(bottle) Clear, mahogany colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Leafy dark malty aroma with mouldy notes and a touch of dark bread. Mildly sweet and bitter flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Dark malty, leafy and earthy taste with traces of molasses and subtle fruity notes; sweet-bitter roast-malty, also a bit slim finish. Still a Dunkel of decent quality. 03.IX.12 djoeye (5414) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 6, 2014

Deep dark reddish colour with small sized beige head. Aroma is roasted malts with some toffee. Some sweetness in the flavor from the toffee, finishes with some bitterness. onystrom (1334) - Magellan Hunter! - Skanderborg, DENMARK - MAR 31, 2006
Beautiful dark red color with okay head. Sweet flavor of malt and caramel, a bit too sweet. Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 19, 2007
Near black colored with red hints. Big beige head. Caramelly aroma with some bubblegum and mild roastiness, rather sweet one. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is more roasted with still this sweetness dominating, caramel also in start. Aftertaste turns to bittersweet with mild roasted tone. Basic Czech dunkel, still maybe too sweet for me. Crispy palate with some carbonation. TBone (18560) - Pori, FINLAND - OCT 23, 2007

Very dark ruby-brown color, good cloudy beige/brownish cloudy head, some lace. Ash, toasted and caramelly malts, also same unclean notes than in another Czech dunkel - 1795 Budejovické Pivo. Flavor starts very sweet, caramelly with brown sugar and even chocolaty notes. Then later some hops, roasty flavors and metallic hints in the aftertaste. Also in the flavor is same unclean feeling than in the nose (unclean I like drinking beer from unclean tap).
Bottle. It pours a clear, reddish brown body with a small, beige head. Quite cute-looking. The aroma has some coffee, as well as dried fruits, and some sweetness. Quite sweet in the mouth, medium fullness, with dried fruits and a little fruityness. Dried fruits and sweetness in the finish. A rather boring dunkel. It’s sessionable, but a boring. (080528)
