(Stockholm Beer Festival 2005) Amber with a brown, almost yellowish head. Toffee diacetyl aroma with some choclate. Thin malty flavor, sugary and with some bitterness in the finish.

Bottle. A little marcipan aroma. Very dark brown/chestnut colour. Small creamy head, light brown. Malty flavour, a little sweet and toasted. IMHO a little too sweet. Aftertaste slightly toasted.

Amber color. Medium head, goes off quickly. Aroma is mainly sweet, the same goes for the flavor that also is a little bit odd, somehow fatty and hint of something burnt.

Bottled. Very dark ruby-brown colour, huge brownish/beige head. Aroma is fruits, earth, caramel malts and some mild smoked notes. Flavour is roasted malts, caramel malts, with some hints of smoke and chocolate. A bit rubbery/metallic in the finish, otherwise the flavour was really nice.

Inexpensive dark bottom fermented lager, which is just good enough, nothing special. Easy drinkable.

(bottle) Clear, mahogany colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Leafy dark malty aroma with mouldy notes and a touch of dark bread. Mildly sweet and bitter flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Dark malty, leafy and earthy taste with traces of molasses and subtle fruity notes; sweet-bitter roast-malty, also a bit slim finish. Still a Dunkel of decent quality. 03.IX.12
