Brown bottle. Been wanten to try this ever since I saw that poster at my beer distributor a few years back. Always wondered why I never saw the real stuff. Yep, looks liek pale lager and it does have a popular check smell, but mind you its not skunky, its fresh. Stronger pale lager influence bordering on astringent lager hops thing happeneing. Yes, hoppy stuff builds as session continues. Sharper palate with decent carbonation. Same with finsh medium bitter linger goes long way. Ironically had to go to florida to get this even tho the poster was in pgh.

Originally rated on 1/28/09. Mid yellow body, not much in the way of carbonation or head, some lace left behind. Crisp mouthfeel, some hop bite with hints of grass and sweet bready malts. Refreshing with a decent aftertaste, although i am not a big pilsner fan it was drinkable.

Bottle from Market Steer Wine Shop, Downtown. Clear golden with a small white head. Corn and cracker aroma. Flavor is sweet grasses, somewhat sweet, some corn, grains. Strangely dry and leaves a weird film in my mouth. It’s not horrible, but that strange film in my mouth is... well, strange.

Punkero (447) - FINLAND - JAN 14, 2017
UPDATED: JAN 14, 2017 Mild bulky aroma with faint malt. Sweet, but pretty light. Watery. Weak. Faint malt in taste as well... Not exactly very rebellious.

Light and almost a melon fruit flavor to it. Not certain if that is intentional but it was not that bad and it was refreshing.

floydslip (392) - Washington DC, USA - JUN 8, 2016
Clear gold beer with a slightly reddish hue topped with a bright crop of white head that takes a while to subside. Generic nose of corn syrup, musky hops, and light cereal grain. Flavor is standard pilsener with a subtle sweetness followed by some cardboard hops, although this one pulls it off fairly well. Definitely not my favorite style, but a decent beer nonetheless.

ordybill (1731) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - NOV 14, 2015
Poured from a 11.2 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Yhe beer is a clear light golden color. The aroma is slightly skunky with some hops. The taste is mild with some grass notes.

TorbenJensen (1517) - Valby, DENMARK - SEP 13, 2015
The foam decreases rapidly, leaving a thin layer on a low-carbonated beer. Therefore, it acts quickly flat. The aroma is not as exciting, but is just slightly hoppy. The taste lacking fullness and richness malt and hops are shown not the good Czech Saaz, but rather a less expensive and less appealing alternative. Hop bitterness is actually only flavor factor in this pilsner and expects to Czech quality you will be disappointed.

Ei ollut mikään kapinallinen kyllä. Hyvin litku ja valju. Loppuyön lämmin baarikalja.

Mild grass and malt aroma. Bold golden colored body with a milk colored head about two inches high which hangs around for awhile. Grainy malt taste with a light bitterness. Feels bubbly on the palate. Has a fairly clean finish and enjoyable. Refreshing and would enjoy again.

12 oz. bottle from Cost Plus. Pours a clear golden brown with a white puffy head. Malt and grassy hops in the aroma. Taste is a well balanced grassy hop bitterness with an underlying malt sweetness. Light to medium body with good carbonation. Bready aftertaste. Well done for the Pilsner style.
