The Prince, Brixton. Deeply nutty and malty beer. Lots of pleasant sweetness with an attractive counterpoint of tobacco bitterness. Very yummy. YantarCoast (1521) - Moscow, RUSSIA - AUG 27, 2014

This I like. A good rendition of a red ale. Brilliant bronze/red colour. Big hop hit on the nose, but roasted malt too. Fruit comes in on the palate, but with hops hitting hard there too. Bitterness developes towards the finish and hangs on in there in the aftertaste, where it is joined by a vaguely smoky whisky tang. Well balanced and eminently drinkable. I could easily sink a few of these. Handpump, The Speaker, Westminster, London SW1.
