My Bottom Line:
Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 9, 2010
Apricots and mild caramel converge on this easygoing, quenching Landbier.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the hazy amber.
-The ‘Dunkel’ in this one is quite restrained. It’s more of a Landbier (there is no toastiness at all, for example).
-Hop fruitiness is also remisnicent of orange zest (although delicate).
-Drinkability is high, but hop bitterness might be lacking for me to truly want to come back for a second pint.
On tap at the brewery pub.
Draught at the brewpub. The color is beautiful, dark amber and the head is creamy and lasting. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of nuts, caramel, malt and the finish is dry. It’s bot very soft and pleasant and yet refreshing. jonas (8280) - Garching close to the monks, GERMANY - JUL 30, 2009
Tap, orange amber, lacing off-white head. Bready light fruity nose hop notes. Bready base, grassy finish. Medium body, chewy. Moreish. kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 28, 2012
Bernsteinfarbend. Gut hopfig und (Röst-)Malz daneben leider auch etwas wässrig das kann allerdings auch am Transport liegen. Schön Süffig. Fazit: Ordentlich aber dennoch lieber frisch gezapft ;)
