Fluffy white head, leaving shards of lace over metallic-golden beer. Milky nose, buttermilk, but fading to some dull malts. Touch of saltiness, as smell from fresh shrimp. Very malty taste, with a finish that is both hoppy and very lightly bitterish, and again a pinch of saltiness. However, in the aftertaste, sweet malts return to dominate, and fade away. Light body, faint grist slickness. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Absolutely devoid of interest, as well. Thanks, Jan! fonefan (48579) - VestJylland, DENMARK - DEC 3, 2009

Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, cardboard notes, light hoppy, grass, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is light grassy. Sweet malty flavoured, light bitterness coming through. Dry and bitter flavoured finish. kappldav123 (6097) - GERMANY - OCT 10, 2009
The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts hoppy, modest dry. Also quite malty notes, a bit wheaty-bready. Finish still flowery-hoppy, well balanced. Good beer! oh6gdx (26482) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 10, 2009
Bottled. Yellowish golden colour, big fluffy white head. Aroma is grains, grass, some malts and mild notes of hay. Flavour is malts, some hops and also quite grainy notes. Rather sweet, but otherwise it would be a decent pils.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear yellow colour with a large and persistent white head. Malty nose. Medium-bodied, pleasantly malty with a pleasant hoppiness. Not too bitter but quite fragrant. Well-crafted Pils that reminds me of Pils beers from the Allgäu. Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUN 6, 2009
Light yellow colored with little white head. Germany hopped aroma with nice flowers also, I like this. Medium bodied, soft palate. Flavor is also nice with good bitter hops and similar flowery tone, aftertaste turns to bitter hopped. Fine pils. MiP (15650) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 10, 2009
Draught. Well, this tastes a lot like Recken Hell, I just hope I got the right beer. The flavour is mildly bready, some chalk. Well-balanced. Low bitterness. Very good. omhper (24958) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 15, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 27, 2008 Draught at Ladgasthof Leicht, Kemmern. Clear golden, small head. Resiny grassy nose. medium dry with rounded mouthfeel and medium body. Not a lot of bitterenss. Very anonymous and lacking the beautiful malt character of most Franconian beers. Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 1, 2008
Light-golden with a nice head. The aroma has notes of malt and flower. The flavour is slightly malty with notes of caramel and crisp, floral hops, citrus and a nice bitterness. It’s refreshing and charming.
