Evil's little brother - just not as strong and takes a different hops direction employing generous amounts of Mosaic hops. A nice alternative if you don't want a very high ABV IPA.

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2018 DATE: January 19, 2018... OCCASION: chilling before our first quiz bowl tournament of the year at Leonia... GLASSWARE: Victory Hop Devil nonick ( a devil in a devil!)... pours an opaque pale yellow orange body that swirls with small, vibrant bubbles... a thick, foamy head paints a lush single-finger screen around the glass... peach, pear, herbal shampoo, light lemon citrus, and light, crisp biscuit malts... sips swiftly and easily, with a thirst-quenching medium-bodied presence and a solid, lasting finish... the slightly bitter return doesn't diminish the pleasantly fruity, lively, herbal IPA that measures at 6.6% ABV... mango and grapefruit crash the party, making this bigger than its body... a nice find, and one delivered courtesy of Jeff (thanks, friend) as a mix four from Vermont....solid, functional and fragrant--a hop forward beer that is balanced and smooth....

Draft at blackback pub. Pours golden with a white head. Leaves a shitload of lacing in the glass. Huge tropical fruit on the nose and tongue along with some toasted wood notes. Finished clean with a slight bitter thing. Nice.

AirForceHops (8175) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 13, 2017
Draft at Farmhouse Tap &Grill, Burlington VT. Almost clear golden appearance. Aroma is largely grassy with hints of mild fruit, mild malt, floral. Flavor is grass upfront followed by apricot finish. Mild grassy bitterness, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Respectable. Lots of Mosiac.

Can from Brewfest Bev. Gold with light haze lasting head and lace. Dank ass mango and tangerine aroma. Medium light melon hay sweetness with grapefruit spicy bitterness in dry finish. Light body creamy and soft and very fine. TOTALLY FUCKING EXCELLENT. [I've upped my Appearance points for clear and lightly hazy IPAs. The opaque bready IPA is not a thing.]

nimbleprop (9029) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - AUG 25, 2017
On tap at Vermont NanoFest 2017, pours a pale gold, hazy white head. Standard nose and flavor. Lemon, herbs, tea. Spritzy, bitter finish.
