Bottle shared during RBWG 2014 Asheville - Late Nite session. Cheers! Pours clear amber with a frothy, tan head. Good stuff. Lots of bread, toffee, dates and plums. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Taster at RBWG 2014 grand tasting - thanks to the person who shared this! 12oz bottle. Aged in bourbon barrels, it says. Clear amber orange red color. Little ring of off-white head. Couple dots and ropes of lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, lighter, kind of soft carbonation. More dry finish. Good caramel malty toasty aroma. Moderate sweet taste, very light bitter. Light alcohol. Decent barrel aged barleywine. A little caramel malty sweet for me, hints of oxidization, but a decent barrel aged barleywine.
