3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft @ Taco Mac Cumming. Pours black with creamy tan head. Smell is roast, some chocolate and a touch of sweet cherry. Taste is roasted malts, chocolate, cherries come out just a bit more but still just barely a suggested flavor. Medium full mouthfeel. Overall pretty nice and I have never been that big a fan off cherry dark beers. I like this one due to the subtlety of the cherries.
Dark brown pour with a light brown head. Flavors of cherries, roast, espresso, some chocolate, a hint of tartness... more roast than sweet. novice101 (308) - - JUL 19, 2013
Pours a very dark brown as a bit of light could be seen in the edges of the glass, a fine tan head that does not quite fade away exists. Smells of malts and chocolate and taste very much the same with cherry flavor every once and again. Very good porter! shadey (2135) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 15, 2013
On draft at the brewery. Black pour with a light tan film on top. Aroma is a weird off malty and a little sour. Flavor is a little burnt malt and hop bitterness. Finish is coffee. Perhaps the cherry is the sour I smell, but otherwise I don’t really detect it. Malty_MacHops (688) - Eastanollee, Georgia, USA - APR 20, 2013
Mostly chocolate notes with only the subtlest hint of cherry. Deep brown to black with a cream to beige foamy head. Balanced, a touch bitter here a touch sweet there. Medium bodied with a semisweet finish. jrob21 (3690) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAR 23, 2013
On tap at taco Mac. Smooth easy to drink. Nice roastiness. Light cherry comes through. Bit of a cocoa texture. Decent drink.

Poured from a growler into a pint glass. This beer smells like a box of chocolate-covered cherries! It’s actually much lighter in color than any porter that I can think of. It’s really a reddish pale color, definitely transparent. The flavor is heavy on rasin and brown sugar sweetness at the start, but with a tart finish akin to a sour cherry (or citrus peel). It’s a really unique flavor. The bitterness definitely lingers for a while, but that’s not a bad thing for me. Overall this is a delicious, if not terribly complex, beer. If you’re looking for something fun and different, look no further. Probably my favorite offering from Red Brick. yespr (45447) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAR 5, 2013

Tap. Pours opaque deep brown to black with a medium tan creamy head.aroma is coffee, roasted malt, cigarettes. Flavor is the same, medium sweet, perhaps due to cherries, but its not obvious. Light bitter coffee finish. Medium body. Suttree (6392) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 10, 2013
Tap at Taco Mac - Chattanooga. Deep, dark red, almost but not quite black. Smells like coffee, chocolate and a little it of cherry. Cherry is more apparent in the flavor, with a good deal of coffee and a bit of chocolate. GTAEgeek (2218) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JAN 31, 2013
On tap at the Windward Taco Mac. Pitch black, with a ruby note. Milk chocolate, with light cherry and wine notes. Very sweet, with little to no bitterness. Light to medium body, syrupy and a little watery. Overall, this is a weak bodied porter, one-dimensional, but still not that bad.
