Crisp copper and bronze coloured body with a thin, one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of bright floral and grassy hops with some herbal notes and a good bit of malt in the mix. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and floral flavour at first with no malt at all - just some dry hop notes and no depth or backbone. Aftertaste shows more of the hop residue with nothing substantial behind it - just an airy herbal and piney hop flavour with no malt to grasp onto. Overall, a pretty poor offering - the hops show decently, but without any malt, there isn’t too much to this beer - subdued and grassy and that’s about it. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Tampa, Florida on 03-January-2014 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 18-March-2014. cgarvieuk (24465) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 18, 2014

Clear amber with a fast-fading head. Nose smells leafy and a wee bit resinous with a small sweetness behind it. The flavor is strongly hopped with some leafy and grassy bitterness, a little pine, finishing with an amberish caramel tone. A little heavy on the leafy resin, otherwise kinda average and forgettable. Frankly, a little on the tame side, especially toward the end of the glass. Gorgeous citrus and pine aromas. Pours a fantastic amber color in the pint glass. Immediately, the drop hops are present to the roof of the mouth. Medium carbonation in play which develops a silky, approachable taste for this IPA. The finish is long and lasting with loads of grass and spruce flavors. bkurtz (1094) - Florida, USA - JAN 20, 2014
Pours a hazy amber with a creamy head. Nice grapefruit and orange aromas. Nice balance of bitter hops. Finish is a little soapy; otherwise, a nice IPA.

Poured at home from a 12 oz bottle. Smells of citrus and that hoppy smell that you expect. Pours a hazy yellow with a little orange tint. Taste bitter and citrusy. Fairly hoppy, but with a name like HopLanta, I was expecting more. Okay beer, but probably wouldn’t try another. aleichter (31) - - JAN 1, 2014
Not overwhelmingly hoppy but still has a great hoppy aroma. Definitely a drinkable IPA. I would like to find this beer again. Holy (837) - GERMANY - DEC 27, 2013
Tasted at the Atlanta Hilton. Decent, but a harsh finish in the hops leaves me with a puckered face... Aeturnabob (4) - - DEC 15, 2013 does not count
As the name suggests, this beer is super hoppy. Good after taste that could be maltier, but a definite must drink if you love hops. nilsas (4114) - Bryne, NORWAY - DEC 14, 2013
Fin duft av citrusfrukter. Gulbrun farge. Tynt lag skum. God litt syrlig smak av citrus.
