Missing some aromatics in the nose: taste is mainly a non-floral, sprucy notes on an almost woody caramalt backbone, imparting austere bitterness without much lure. Feels stronger than its under 7%.
12 ounce bottle from Ale Yeah. Starts with a nice aroma of hops and resin then is followed by too much toffee caramel for the IPA I like. cubs (10740) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - APR 5, 2014
Bottle @ home, courtesy of jcnielsen I think. Thanks ! Pours a murky dark reddish orange appearance with a cream colored head. Goopy caramel in the nose with sap, Smarties, and tropical fruits. Decent body. Kind of goopy / syrupy mouth feel. Heavy caramel and toffee. Big candy flavor. Pretty high bitterness and moderate to high sweetness. Pass. Ricoslim (116) - - APR 4, 2014
No idea where the hops are on this one. Pours a copper color leaning towards orange. Aroma is of very light hops. Tastes almost water downed. Missing flavor. LilBeerDoctor (4231) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 2, 2014
On tap at the Distillery. Pours a clear orange with a thick white head. Aroma of pine, grassy hops, stinky hops, light fruits. Flavor of grassy, bitter hops, light fruits, bitter finish. A hoppy, bitter IPA, pretty good overall.

Crisp copper and bronze coloured body with a thin, one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of bright floral and grassy hops with some herbal notes and a good bit of malt in the mix. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and floral flavour at first with no malt at all - just some dry hop notes and no depth or backbone. Aftertaste shows more of the hop residue with nothing substantial behind it - just an airy herbal and piney hop flavour with no malt to grasp onto. Overall, a pretty poor offering - the hops show decently, but without any malt, there isn’t too much to this beer - subdued and grassy and that’s about it. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Tampa, Florida on 03-January-2014 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 18-March-2014. cgarvieuk (26365) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 18, 2014

Clear amber with a fast-fading head. Nose smells leafy and a wee bit resinous with a small sweetness behind it. The flavor is strongly hopped with some leafy and grassy bitterness, a little pine, finishing with an amberish caramel tone. A little heavy on the leafy resin, otherwise kinda average and forgettable. Frankly, a little on the tame side, especially toward the end of the glass. Gorgeous citrus and pine aromas. Pours a fantastic amber color in the pint glass. Immediately, the drop hops are present to the roof of the mouth. Medium carbonation in play which develops a silky, approachable taste for this IPA. The finish is long and lasting with loads of grass and spruce flavors. bkurtz (1148) - LITHUANIA - JAN 20, 2014
Pours a hazy amber with a creamy head. Nice grapefruit and orange aromas. Nice balance of bitter hops. Finish is a little soapy; otherwise, a nice IPA.
