On tap pours a deep orange/brown has a good hop taste. Very drinkable on a hot day. A little to light for me. AmEricanbrew (7080) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - JUL 8, 2014
Clear amber color with ivory foam. Soapy, fruity, marshmallow aromas. Medium body with average carbonation. Hoppy bitter pine flavors with some grainy pale malt sweetness____drying bitter finish--not bad. Homer321 (5248) - Melboring, Florida, USA - JUN 25, 2014
Draft. Nose is an inviting tropical citrus experience with a light crackery and bready malt presence. Pour is fairly clear And light red in color. Small white head with excellent lacing. Taste. Oh. Taste. This is where the beer heads south. An overly sweet sticky mess that has an apple like character to it, then a slightly astringent drying finish. Seems like it is on the verge of a catastrophic problem and just barely holding itself together. Not that great. Or good. Or decent. chinchill (5377) - South Carolina, USA - MAY 29, 2014
On tap at the brewery. A clear amber ale with a durable bone-colored head. Excellent lacing.
Bitterness kicks up in the finish and lingers on in the grapefruit-rind flavored aftertaste. Some malt flavor with little [it seems] balancing sweetness.

Tap from Lazy Dog. Pours a light amber with a decent layer. Aroma is faint. Taste of hops and...that’s it.

12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours deep amber with an off-white head. Aroma of lightly floral and light pine hops, pale and caramel malts, and some dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not really a standout IPA. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 14, 2014
Draft. Crystal clear amber body with medium beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, pine/grapefruit, some caramel, floral. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit/pine, some bread, light peach/floral. Medium body, light acidity. Ferris (17070) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 12, 2014
Bottle - Orange and rich caramel. Copper with rich beige head. Caramel, candy floss hops and very light bitterness. A fairly sweet IPA, but drinkable. thurstonjc (8) - Michigan, USA - MAY 10, 2014 does not count
Decent beer from a very good brewery in Atlanta. It’s not elite but a very strong beer in its style. jbruner (5448) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - APR 20, 2014
UPDATED: OCT 3, 2017 Pours a slightly hazy golden orange on tap with minimal ring of off-white head. Aroma is a nice citrus hop note up front with a good pale caramalt background. Taste is more towards the sweetness, but still nice resinous hops. Moderate carbonation, bittersweet finish. Decent IPA.
The recipe has been updated as of October, 2017, and it is hand over fist a better beer. Juicier, hoppier, lighter malt body, less bitterness. Updated for the new palate!
