3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Super tall off-white head (may have let this one get too cold). Cloudy dark golden body. Aroma of citrus, sharp resin, and faint caramel/dough. Decent texture with a fairly strong bitter finish for a pale ale. Bitterness lingers a bit too long though. Good, interesting pale ale.
Bottle Vines Dr. Phillips, as Pale Ale 5.6%. Good caramel aroma & flavour with background fruity hops. Semi sweet palate with orange notes, lingering bitter finish, trace smoke with some warmth late on. Enjoyable. zgaier (1951) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - FEB 18, 2012
Pours a golden orange with a white head and hoppy aroma. Taste is of hops, grapefruit, pine, and citrus with a bitter finish. Solid, drinkable american pale ale jjgmd (2161) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - FEB 18, 2012
Pours a hazy orange slightly golden color. Aroma yeasty, heavily carbonated with tremendous head, topping the glass with a small pour ? Taste is citrusy and refreshing, hoppy with a short finish. The large head rather bothersome , even when poured correctly. Quaff Score 5 / 10 bhensonb (15187) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 24, 2012
Bottle from Liz. This is Red Brick Pale Ale (93 Beer Here on label) which the BA site indicates is an alias of Peachtree Pale, or vice versa. ABV on this bottle is 5.6%. Pours hazy orange gold with a creamy white head. Nice citrus/grapefruit aroma. Med body. Flavor has some resin, but I think grapefruit is the stronger. Not quite dry. Decently bitter. Drinks well. dfinney23 (3268) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 11, 2012
Pours hazy orange-amber with a thin but persistent head. Aroma is grass and citrus. Taste is grapefruit with a piney bitter finish.

12oz bottle. Unfiltered golden-tan. Big, steady off-white head. Some grapefruit and other citrus in the aroma. Very fruity and citrusy, this is a pleasant surprise. Really tastes quite peachy, almost like fruit extract has been utilized. Medium bodied, quite refreshing, cooling mouthfeel. I’m really quite impressed if there isn’t some sort of additive. Solid APA, but sort of loses points overall because of a sneaking suspicion of infection. ganache (5893) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 9, 2011
According to RB, this is my 100th different APA. Bottle. (Golden-amber body, hazy with a rocky tan head). Mild with light grain and honey, nice doughy malt. Surprising caramel flavor, a bit strange, with low spicy accents and medium, unexpected bitterness. A little citrus with bigger pine and woody hops. Medium-body. Nice but for infrequents. Hazy orange. Aroma of mild hop and toffee. Taste has some floral hop and orange rind bitterness but not much. Barrios (1243) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 4, 2011
Pours a fading beige head with a golden body. Aromas is herbal and slight citrus. Flavor is much the same. Finish is a bit dry. DrinkEmUpJones (1069) - Georgia, USA - APR 29, 2011
Pours clear orange-yellow with white head. Yeast/cereal and a little orchard fruit on the nose. Full-bodied with bread flavor and a little citrus bitterness on the back palate/finish. Good, very good for the style.
