Draft at Brick Store. Murky maroon brown color, massive thick beige head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of vanilla, butterscotch, candied dates. Taste is boozy Christmas fruit cake. A big beer. Tasty though. kermis (13269) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 12, 2013

Cask at ACAT. Pours a cloudy deep amber orange with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has light spice and sweet grains with a hint of darker bread and oak. Flavor also has light spice and starts with light grains that become darker and are backed by oak. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUN 28, 2013
Reddish brown pour, off white head. Caramel, toffee, oak, light tannins, this is a very nice brew.

12 oz. bottle shared by dudeabide- thanks again, Nate! Pours a clear caramel color with a small off-white head. Aroma of earth, leaves, oak, and florals. The flavor follows the same lines, but boozier. Not much spice. Light-medium bodied, with medium carbonation and a boozy mouthfeel. Not sure what the aim was here, but it’s not impressive. b3shine (8864) - Indiana, USA - JAN 22, 2014
Bottle to taster (shared by dudeabide). Looks good for the style; a translucent amberish brown with foamy off-white head that has a slight yellow tint to it. Smells semi-sweet, malty, and oaky. Tastes like it smells with a nice, smooth mouthfeel. Solid, but forgettable. drowland (8676) - Georgia, USA - FEB 15, 2013
2/15/13. 12oz bottle from Grassroots Natural Market! Deep brown pour with a small khaki head that fades to a ring and barely laces. The BA definitely shows in the aroma with some sweetness, vanilla, and straight up booze. Under that, there’s some sweet caramel, spice, and dark fruits. Sweet caramel flavor with chocolate, plenty of that BA booziness, and a lingering spicy aspect. Eh. SudsMcDuff (8428) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - MAR 20, 2013

Tap. Pours hazy deep brown creamy large beige head that dissipates with good lacing. Aroma is a wonderful blend of bourbon, molasses and caramel. Flavor is the same, not quite as amazing, lightly sweet with light zesty/spicy bitterness and a bit of woody astringency. Light to medium body.
