Light golden pour with a white head. Smells like butter and corn syrup. Sugary sweetness, apples, straw, and grass. Mild malt aroma. Not a very good aroma. The flavor is a slight improvement. Very sweet and sugary. Corn syrup, apple, and white grape. Light malt, grass, and some butter. BeerandBlues2 (13438) - Escondido, California, USA - AUG 12, 2009
Draught. Pours clear dark yellow with a small, fizzy white head, somewhat diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (straw, grain, meal), average hop (grass), average yeast (dough, sweat) with notes of vegetable. Light bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness and acidity, moderate bitterness. Saarlander (1686) - Saarlouis, GERMANY - NOV 30, 2008
On tap at brewery, very plain, Grainy, oily, taste was lacking, could have been hopped abit, drinkable, but nothing going for it, my least favorite of the RedCar brews. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JAN 16, 2008
on tap-pours a disappearing white head and gold color. Aroma is sweet grain, slight crisp hops. Taste is sweet grain, slight crisp hops. About right for a light beer. User57106 (246) - - JAN 8, 2008
Draft, consumed at brewery on 01/07/08. Clear light gold, nice carbonation. No aroma. Almost banana flavored and not as sweet as feared. Maltiness is subdued and not very corn-like (a nice departure for brewpub "light" styles) and some welcome though fleeting hop notes at the end. Better than average, though not outstanding.

Tap at Brewpub: Gold, light head and lacing. Nose of sweet green apple esters, some toasty pale malt and a grassy hop note. The flavor is light and malty, balanced, a bit more going on than your usual "domestic substitute" beers a place will offer. Finishes grassy. BeerLimey (2154) - California, USA - SEP 2, 2004
Lightl hazed, pale appearance, lightly carbonated. Mild aroma. Light in flavor, mildly grainy and biscuity, dry cereal grain finish. MMM...Beer (385) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - NOV 8, 2003
Probably one of the better lites I've ever had. Soft gold color.Wonderful fruity nose. An infusion of fruit right as it hits your mouth. Definitey not your run of the mill American Standard.
