Bottle from Mam and Dad's Holiday, Southern England. Black-brown with ruby red highlights and a tan head. It has milk chocolate, vanilla and roasted flavours followed by more milk chocolate and bitterness on the finish. BeardedAvenger (1197) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2017
Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Vague chocolate malt aroma (what’s that malty chocolate drink called?) - had to strain me nose. Jet black, cola brown in the light. Thin bubbly beige head. Sweet with hint of bitterness, more so into the finish. Chocolate, cream and a light toasted element. Some berry sharpness. Medium bodied. Creamy. Sediments brush on the tongue. Soft carbonation. Low key finish. Decent porter. Am told that the water in thid part of Hamsphire is perfect for Porters. Certainly have enjoyed those Hants porters I’ve had so may well be true. john44 (3429) - SW London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 11, 2017

Flavor is smooth, pleasant roasted dark malt with roasted coffee, plums and balanced bitterness. Medium body and good aftertaste. Really nice, smooth, classic porter without any nonsense.
