This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of frothy medium sized white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated body with junk floating in it . The weak aroma was malty and grassy. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The weird flavor contained notes of malt. There was something off in the flavor. A horrible one that I would rather not drink again. What’s with these beers from Florida we bought? So many bad ones came from there. My last set of ratings were the lowest I’ve seen in a long time. 12oz bottle from ABC in fort myers. copper pour. bubbly soda look - but almost no head. faint smells of medicine. tastes like flat caramel malts and skunkiness. astringent sweet finish. fairly awful. hotstuff (5258) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAR 18, 2009
Bottle.Small off-white head with decent retention, very little carbonation, transparent, no lacing, and a gold hue. The aroma reminds me of nothing but medicine and sulfur. The flavor was very astringent and bitter. Mouthfeel was fairly smooth and a medium bodied beer. Since I have nothing good to say about this "beer" other than don’t bother trying it. ...well, this beer tasted like the asshole of a red dragon, if such a thing existed. Horrible, overly syrupy with overpowering medicine flavors, like a cough syrup, or nyquil. I would bever drink this again, and you should never waste your money on it either, unless you are a dumbass, then do it. morrdt (715) - Jacksonville, Florida, USA - OCT 16, 2007
Single 12 oz. bottle from Total Wine in Jacksonville. Bottled in China, imported by Cuidao USA out of Hollywood FL. I’m a bit wary because this beer is in the dreaded green bottle. Let’s see what’s up with this one...Pours a amber color with very little head. A bit of sediment is evident in the bottom of the bottle. Aroma is not existent. Taste is woeful. Caramel and skunk. I’m sure this beer, when fresh, is much better, but until they can figure out a way to bring a Chinese beer to America in something other than a barge ship, this is one to avoid at all costs. Yuck!

Bleh. Darkish copper, somewhat like tea. No head at all, along with virtually no effervescence. Sulfuric skunky aroma. A touch of strong caramel candy. Sulfur and bad toffee on a flat palate, with a unpleasant astringency and bitterness near the finish. Immediate drain pour! fattibobatti (246) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - SEP 1, 2007
I did my best job to find something, anything decent about this beer. i considered region and culture. this was horrible. the worst pale lager i have ever had. made me want to drink nat. light. since i couldnt even finsh it i will try and describe this disaister. smell is of herbs but not atractive ones such as fennel or coriander. more like medcine gone bad. taste is exactly the same, some kind of sweet medicine with NO CARBONATION. flat and replusive. light as water on the tongue and a terrible aftertaste. didnt bottle to remove it from the bottle other than pouring it down my sink. THANK GOD i bought only 1 bottle for a dollar. DON’T BOTHER TO TRY. EVER. yayforbeer (753) - Orange Park, Florida, USA - JUL 22, 2007
12 oz bottle. This bottle doesn’t mention the word “light”, but then I can’t read Chinese. It has “Xtreme Beer” on the label. So I don’t know where it belongs on RateBeer. RateBeer has become more jumbled and confusing, and with beer categories that often conflict with what the bottle label says. This one is definitely a pale lager just like its category states. Aroma of sweet pale malts Cheap and sweet tasting. Cloying. Typical cheap third world lager flavor reminiscent of watered down fortified red wine (Richard’s Wild Irish Rose?). This stuff probably sells for pennies a bottle in China, and is sold for quality import prices in the US. I can brew better than this even on a bad day. Barely drinkable and not even close to being worth the price paid (and that wasn’t much). Any cheap Ameican macro lager beats this. Boo.. hopscotch (11236) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JUN 2, 2007
Bottle... Lightly hazed, golden lager with a small, fizzy, white head. Medicinal aroma with undertones of brown sugar and toffee. The flavor is a blend of orange blossom and wildflower honey... sweet, sweet, sweet with a pinch of clove and just a touch more sweetness after the initial sweetness. Did I mention sweet? Just a few hops, please! Medium-bodied and moderately oily with lively carbonation. Sweet, mead-like finish... Luden’s honey flavored cough drops come to mind.
