1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
330ml bottle. Pours a fairly clear medium amber, with a tiny off-white head, which fades rapidly and leaves no lacing. Damp grass and grainy malt make for a less than inspiring aroma. Hops are next to non-existent (and this in an IPA), with only some very faint grassy notes up front. Grainy, cereal malt and a flat, watery body follow, with a bland finish leaving a cardboard aftertaste. This is an extremely unimpressive beer. It is flat, watery and flavourless, and tastes more like a cheap lager than an IPA. If I were a British soldier in colonial India and this turned up in my rations I might be inclined to join my local colleagues in mutiny.
Bottle from Red Duck (500mL Limited Release, January 2015). Dark amber, large white head, earthy aromas, toffee, butterscotch, grassy, grapefruit bitterness, full body, long bitter finish. Nice. TedE (1541) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - FEB 19, 2015
330 ml bottle into glass. Subtle hop nose with tiny malt note. Looks like caramel fudge with an off white head. Opaque, so I can’t see any bubbles. Medium body, nicely bitter. Aftertaste is really well balanced, subtle creamy bitterness, a little toffee then very late lasting bitterness. Very nice. vinhol (346) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 3, 2014

Looks.. Copper/amber/orange medium head.
Smells.. Grapefruit citrus, piney, boozy peaches light malts.
Tastes.. Stone and citrus fruits, light choc wafer malts, citrus bitterness at finish. Niksko (635) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - AUG 19, 2013
Pours a lovely clear amber with a finger of stable frothy off white head. Nose is very citrus and grapefruit forward, with some sweet malt backbone. Also some tropical notes. Taste is again, citrus, some pine, solid malt sweetness with a moderately bitter finish. Nothing incredibly, but a good solid IPA.

From 330 ml bottle. Pours a hazy copper with a thin white head. Aromas of passionfruit, melon, citrus and caramel. The taste is strongly malty, with bread and sweet caramel prominent. Didn?t get as much of the expected hop characters - the bitterness is quite restrained, but there?s a light passionfruit/orange taste at the end. Clean finish with a fruity aftertaste. Not a bad beer at all but more like an amped up amber/ESB rather than a full-on IPA. danlo (3366) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - JUN 26, 2013
330ml bottle. Orange amber colour, thin off-white foam head, aroma of malt caramel & citrus resin hop. Biscuity malt taste with sweet orange citrus bitterness with some warming alcohol. Slightly oily mouth feel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, some residual sweetness through to a dry bitter finish. Quite OK IPA. downender (9008) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 16, 2013
Bottle from Mane Liquor, Perth. Deep amber with a slight haze and decent, tight off-whitehead. Aroma of citrus fruits, floral hops and cereal malts. Flavour was much the same, with a touch of sweetness to the fruit and dry finish. Good. Sevenlee (1846) - Central Coast, NSW, AUSTRALIA - JUN 6, 2013
Pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is malt, grass, caramel, fruit. Taste is light sweet leading to a dry bitter and grassy finish. OK
