Pours a light hazy golden color with a fine white head. Nose is orange, lots of pineapple. Flavor is grapefruit, some grain and a bitter finish. Not too bad. Nice hop aroma and flavour, but nothing amazing. Rob_D_UK (1369) - Madrid, SPAIN - SEP 16, 2013
Pours clear yellow with a white head. Slight floral aroma with a lovely crisp, bitter taste. Pyobon (1403) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - SEP 14, 2013
(Bottle) Lovely clear pale gold with reasonable white head. Nice aroma of lemony citrus and pine over some soft malt notes. Great palate - carbonation is bright and delivers a velvety mouthfeel. The taste is very much dominated by the hops. A short-lived fruity start quickly gives way to hop bitterness that keeps on developing through to a long finish. Overall, it is a fine beer, but the hops are too dominant. bmmarshall (15) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 15, 2013
My favorite red duck beer.
Very drinkable. Nice hop bitterness.
Citrus, piney notes. Jado (798) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - JUN 16, 2013
330 ml bottle. Pours a clear bronze-amber with a thin but lasting white head. Tropical fruit, lemon, hay and pine in the nose. The taste has a lemony taste up front, before a nice firm hop bitterness in the mid-palate. Soft fruit at the end before a crisp finish. Light spicy aftertaste. Decent Aussie pale ale.

Bottle. Slightly hazy gold with a decent, off-white head. Decent pale ale, with plenty of citrus fruits, biscuity malts and a lingering, dryish finish. Good. ComradeK (1236) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAR 21, 2013
330ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy medium gold, with a small white head, which does not last all that well but does leave reasonable lacing. The aroma blends fruity, floral and pine hops notes with white bread and mild caramel malt. Pine needle and citrus hops up front lead into a fairly soft, rounded malt body of caramel and white bread. The finish offers pine resin and some fruity hops notes. This is a fairly standard APA. It is certainly quite enjoyable, but not really groundbreaking. Gramoit (490) - Surrey, ENGLAND - NOV 5, 2012
Solid flavoursome pale ale. Great session ale and perfect for a hot day like today. KeefOz (1838) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - AUG 13, 2012
Poured a cloudy golden amber colour with a two-finger white foamy head that diminished quickly and laced OK. Mild aroma of sweet malt. Taste initally faint malt followed by moderate but noticeable bitterness. Medium body. Moderately long and slightly tart/bitter finish. M_Jager (106) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 9, 2012
I didn’t really enjoy the red duck bright ale but this was much better, a good effort at a pale.
