Ok Taste, a bit thin, middle of the road Porter, nothing special, just an average drop ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Patersoi (165) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 30, 2016
Feral head overflowed glass badly. Subtle chocolate and vanilla aroma. Subtle coffee, chocolate and vanilla flavours and s touch of charcoal on the finish. Some sweet malt to end it all.

Cask pours dark brown with a shockingly large tan head. Light roast anise aroma. Flavor has roast, slight sour malt, not much for hops. Smooth on the mouthfeel, medium body. Decent.

Bottle from Plonk (Sep 2014). Dark brown/cola, frothy head, cocoa/chocolate, some ash, roasted grain, a bit thin, quite dry but smooth. Nice.

Bottle - pours black with a lacy tan head. Roast sweet malt with hints of choc and toast malt. Taste is dry with a bitter finish.

Nice poor like a coke. Some nice coffee and chocolate just slight. Easily drunk with a thin body.

Mr_Pink_152 (4887) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JAN 1, 2015
Part of my 2013 backlog, and brought back from oz by family. Colour is black with a small head. Aroma has chocolate, fruit, and deep caramel. The taste has these too with roasted malt.

2.7
mattyhennessy (376) - Highton, AUSTRALIA - SEP 21, 2013
Pours dark and opaque with a light tan head that dissipates quickly. Strong coffee aroma. Strong roasted malt flavour, but not much else. Lacks in flavour for a porter, with only slight hints of chocolate and caramel. The base for a delicious beer is there, but it falls just short of the mark

Great rich smooth malty flavours with a sweet aftertaste. Could drink a lot of these on a cold night
