Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has notes of citrus and sweet grains with a bit of grass underlying. Flavor has an onion and citrus combination with sweet grains supporting and a hint of grass underlying.

Keg @ Red Eye. Gold pour with a small head. Nose is fairly fruity. Cantaloupe melon and citrus fruit. Sweet malt backbone. Honeyed grain and angel food cake with a fairly assertive bitterness in the finish. Gentle pine, more citrus fruits. Medium body, a touch boozy. Solid IPA.

MrTipple (4968) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2016
Light tropical fruits, sweet passion fruit, grapefruit. Clear gold, small, creamy, white head. Medium sweet. Bittersweet orange, tropical fruits, mango, passion fruit, lively carbonation, medium bodied. Decent IPA, nice bittersweet fruits in palate. Keg at The Old Fashioned, Madison, WI.

Not my kind of style for an IPA. I prefer more of a west coast style type of hop.

muzzlehatch (4959) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 11, 2016
Draught sample at the brewpub, July 28th. Pale amber-orange pour, with a fairly decent lasting head (especially for a sample-sized pour) and noticeable lacing...pungent nose containing tropical fruits (mango, papaya), a bit of lime, and a faint resinous touch...expertly done moderately sweet, moderate-to-strongly bitter body, juicy and fairly full without becoming syrupy, drying out nicely in the finish. Perhaps just a bit undercarbonated. Not a knock-your-socks off example by any means but a solid IPA I’d be glad to see on tap near me.

Definitely one of the better IPAs I’ve had from WI, and pretty much all of the ones I’d put above it didn’t exist when I first had it.

unclemike (3124) - Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA - OCT 9, 2015
pours a hazy orange with a thin head and some lacing, hoppy aroma with some tropical fruit notes, the flavor has a nice balance between the hops and the malt with some grapefruit in the finish, yum.

kkleu357 (634) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 11, 2015
On tap at the brewery. Just an average IPA. What you typically get at a local taphouse. More malty and bitter than fruity and hoppy.

crossovert (12934) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 25, 2015
Draft. A pretty nice ipa, not super dry but a ncie bitterness, fruity citrus hops, some spice and malt.

Ratman197 (14842) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - DEC 5, 2014
Poured a clear golden amber with a lingering ring of ivory foam. Aromas of bread, pine, earthiness and a hint of citrus. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, earthiness, pine and light grapefruit with a smooth dry lingering moderately bitter finish.
