Not your typical saison. Some of the saison funk is present, but followed with a light, almost pumpkin pie spicing. Different, but enjoyable.

10/7/13. On tap at Sweetgrass Dairy Market. Spiced pumpkin beer aroma, sweet cream, vanilla, etc. The flavor follows suit, oddly like a pumpkin beer, mildly tart. Strange. rbrazell (1698) - Florida, USA - AUG 22, 2013
Draft at Sweetgrass Dairy. Hazy golden pour with a small white head. Aroma of sweet apples, spicy yeast some light funk and candy sweetness. Almost similar to apple pie crust. Flavor is pretty close to the aroma and has a candy sweetness throughout. Meh, Didn’t like this one too much. unclemattie (4358) - Georgia, USA - SEP 19, 2012
Growler @ Crafty Draught. Pours golden orange color, thin white head. Sweet floral aroma, gentle clove scent, leon peel, ripe apple essence, and light banana. Sweet candi sugar flavor, over ripe banana, Red Delicious apple juice, and some tropical fruit. Syrupy texture, with some floral bitterness. Finishes dry, even with the sweet flavors... odd. Overall, its just too sweet for a Saison, The flavors are right, it’s just missing the heavy breadiness.

On tap at taco Mac. Pours a clear gold with an amber hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is heavily spice with a good amount of clove and underlying sweet grain and flora. Flavor has sweet grain and flora note up front with heavy spice with a lot of clove.

Growler. Clear golden pour with a small white head. Nice aroma full of green apple, some tropical fruit, sugar and light banana. Flavors were well rounded, lots of apple throughout, light malty sweetness, very floral with a yeasty finish. Mouthfeel was somewhat syrupy, slick and coating, very nice. Overall I though this was a well brewed saison, nicely done. Westmeister (2129) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - AUG 7, 2012
32 oz Growler. Pours clear golden with a nice white fluffy head. Smell is some funk, spiciness, sour citrus fruit. Taste is lemon, green apple, yeasty, slight spiciness, sweet tinge. Body is medium and finishes a bit dry. Not too many saisons being done locally, but this one was pretty good none the less. Cybercat (5893) - Georgia, USA - JUL 21, 2012
Comes out of the tap a pretty clear golden amber - didn’t get much head, but it appears to be light tan and leaves substantial lacing. Fruity aroma has an undertone of fresh homemade bread. Strong, malty, fruity aroma has notes of apple, bread and caramel and a hint of hops. Firm-bodied texture has good, strong fizz. Definitely a sipping beer. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUL 14, 2012
Clear yellow/gold pour, white head. Aroma of lemon peel, light spice, yeast. Nice tart up front, finishes lemony, spicy and a bit dry.
