Pours hazy, bubbly topaz with a thick, though ephemeral, eggshell head. Aroma offers tangy citrus and resiny hops, nothing spectacular but inviting. Flavor, though, yields a strong note of grapefruit and orange, plus piney hops, a little tropical and a little malt. Mouthfeel presents good body and fizz, and a citrus and tropical juicy finish. Get juiced! aracauna (3734) - Georgia, USA - FEB 4, 2018
Musky hop aroma with the fruit. Low bitterness. Nice hazy instead of chunky cloudy. Very solid NEIPA. elgiacomo (746) - Ringgold/Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, USA - JAN 28, 2018
12oz Can. Best by July 18, 2018. Guessing it was canned January 18th, consumed January 27th, so pretty darn fresh.
Pours hazy yellowish orange with a small white head that leaves a ring and faint cap.
Aroma of citrus and some tropical fruits. Touch of bread/cracker malt behind it. Moderate strength.
Flavor is where this shines. Nice citrus notes, especially oranges, some tropical fruits, very light malt backbone offering just a touch of sweetness. Decent bitterness compared to some other NEIPAs, which I'm glad to see.
Medium bodied. A bit oily. Light to moderate carbonation.
I'm pretty impressed! Very tasty brew from Red Hare. Only bought a single to try, but will probably be back for a 6-pack. jbruner (5578) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - JAN 1, 2018
Pours a hazy golden yellow on tap with fluffy white head that leaves light lace. Aroma of fruity tropical hop notes over light biscuit sand yeast. Taste follows, yeast and hop forward with mild bitterness and soft mouth. Not bad for the style.
